I am an Iranian-American immigrant whose personal and cultural journey deeply informs the way I show up as a therapist. Growing up between cultures has given me a lived understanding of displacement, resilience, identity, and the unspoken complexities that come with navigating multiple worlds. This experience has shaped my ability to listen with nuance, hold complexity with care, and approach each client’s story with humility and curiosity.
As a therapist, I am especially attuned to the ways culture, intergenerational experiences, trauma, and systemic stressors impact mental health and the nervous system. I believe effective therapy, whether through EMDR therapy, family therapy, or individual therapy, honors both where you come from and where you are going. My approach is relational, culturally responsive, and grounded in deep respect for each individual’s values, identity, and lived reality.
I am committed to continuous growth—both personally and professionally—and actively seek ongoing education, training, and regular peer supervision to deepen my clinical skills and expand my understanding. I strive to be a well-rounded, informed, and ethical therapist who serves my community with integrity, compassion, and intention.
It is a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their healing, and I remain dedicated to offering care that is thoughtful, inclusive, and responsive to the diverse communities I serve.

Over the past decade, I have gained valuable experience working in hospital and acute care settings, where I have supported individuals facing acute and chronic trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex emotional challenges across various stages of life. My work in high-intensity crisis environments has included providing care to clients navigating significant transitions, acute psychological and medical stress, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to this, I have extensive outpatient experience offering individual therapy to children and adults, helping them address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ongoing life stressors. I also incorporate EMDR therapy in my practice to support clients in processing traumatic experiences. Furthermore, I have facilitated family therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and healing within families. Across both crisis and outpatient settings, these experiences have shaped my ability to deliver grounded, compassionate, and evidence-based care—guiding my clients from survival toward stability, insight, and meaningful healing.
